Lightning Current Arrester - SPD Type 1

Exhibition stand

Hall 13, Stand D41

Product description

Encapsulated high-performance spark gap

To be installed in low-voltage distributions at the boundary of LPZ 0A and LPZ 1 zones to prevent overvoltage effects induced during direct or indirect lightning strikes in the most demanding applications in the heavy and chemicals industry, power stations, etc. It is perfectly coordinated with SPD type 2 - SLP-385 (V) even
without the use of separating inductors.

Surge protective devices

The basic principle for surge protection is the complexity and coordination of protections. The complexity requirement can be met only by installing surge protections in all inputs and outputs (!) of the given equipment, i.e. it is necessary to protect the feed line, measuring and communication interface. ...read more

Surge Protection - SPD Type 1 - Combined B+C)

Principles of positioning and wiring of surge protections and lightning current arresters Surge protections and lightning current arresters cannot be installed in the distributor at random. You must be aware of the fact that protection should be placed in closest proximity to the input feed cable in ...read more
