IMA-METAV company produces braking systems for a wide range of aircrafts with quality levels according to the air requirements.
The manufacturing scope ranges brakes for small and medium helicopters and utility planes to complex brakes assemblies for jet engine aircrafts. The friction bimetallic and metalloceramic materials which make the elements for transformation, absorption and dissipation of the braking energy are obtained in IMA-METAV, by applying certain specific technologies, according to the type and the use of the braking systems.
The provision of IMA-METAV laboratories with inspection equipment at the highest level of qualitative requirements, allows the performance of a wide range of analyses and tests, yielding a complete determination of the physic-mechanical and operating properties of the products.
All the products performed, braking systems, spare parts, are subject to specific trials on the testing and to checks that can simulate the static and dynamic conditions during contact and running on the landing raceway, this guaranteeing their quality.
