Product description

Pump units with magnetic coupling do meet the
now higher requirements for environmental
protection when handling liquids being harmful to
the environment, toxic and explosive as well as
for high temperature applications. The driving
torque of the motor is transmitted through the can
to the output section by way of magnetic forces
acting on the pump shaft. This can does separate
the pump inside area hermetically from the
atmosphere. The pump shaft bearing is done by
medium-lubricated sliding bearings. Leakage as
with conventional shaft sealings is excluded.

The EDUR modular construction system allows a
maximum flexibility with regard to the pump
configuration.

Upon request EDUR pumps also can be
equipped with lossless magnetic couplings to
meet the increasing demands of energy
efficiency. A plastic can does avoid the formation
of eddy current losses.
