MAGPASS-COAT® is a process for the chrome-free passivation of magnesium-based materials.
Coating with MAGPASS-COAT® is carried out, for instance, using immersion bath method. The workpiece is immersed in a chrome-free, inorganic and aquaeous passivation solution and it then develops a conversion layer on the workpiece surface. The conversion layer consists of oxides of the passivation solution and the base material. It is electrically conductive and it acts as an intermediate layer for following treatments like paintwork or gluing.

DURALLOY® is an extremely hard, crack-free, precise, very thin and ultrapure metallic chromium layer. A nodular structured surface can be deposited in the layer thickness range from 1.5 to 20 µm. Due to the low process temperature of under 70 °C no changes to the structure of the base material occur more

Synergetic Coatings » TUFRAM® TUFRAM® is a collective name for a family of coatings in which an aluminum surface is converted in to aluminum oxide. During this process the aluminum crystals grow out to a porous layer that remains hygroscopic for a short time and therefore has optimum adhesive properties. more

In the NEDOX® process, a nickel-phosphor alloy is applied to the substrate surface under defined conditions. This layer contains numerous micro pores that are enlarged in patented mass processes. The surface is sealed by the controlled impregnation of polymer particles. At the end of the NEDOX® process, more
