Organic batteries represent a promising energy-storage concept intimes of scarce resources. The used active materials are organicpolymers, replacing inorganic electrode materials (e. g., LiCoO2). Theusage of polymers allows the application of more facile processingtechniques and the assembly of flexible batteries.Inkjet printing is used to deposit functional materials onto surfacesin a targeted and material-saving way, with a potential application,e. g., in biochip fabrication, microelectronics, and organic electronics.
