The microbiome comprises all the bacteria living on and in a human being. This could in future be measured quantitatively and qualitatively. Consequently, there is a need for a system which periodically records and checks the microbial composition of each individual during the course of their life.
This system should enable the microbiome to be incorporated into medical diagnostics, in order to be able to facilitate personalised treatments. MIKROBIA is a selftest which was designed for the diagnosis of micro-organisms in the human body. It can be used to check the microbial composition of six habitats of the human body.
