Product description

The new Power Compact redundancy modules from BLOCK offer maximum system availability at an efficiency of over 99% on the basis of low-loss MOSFET technology.
Using the redundancy modules, the parallel connection of two decoupled power supplies with a voltage range of 10 to 56V enables redundancy mode, or allows to increase the output power if required. The full functionality of the system is ensured, thanks to compatibility with the Top Boost and Power Boost functions of the power supplies.
In the event of a short circuit at the output, operation remains active and an increased power loss is prevented. The system power supply is also ensured in the event of a short circuit on one of the supply lines. In both cases, the error message is sent to the higher-level controllers and system operator via common relay contact and LEDs.
With their compact dimensions, the BLOCK redundancy modules ensure highest operational reliability in every wiring cabinet.
