The PQSine series is an active harmonic filter system designed to mitigate harmonic oscillations in order to consequently reduce wasted energy, improving the system efficiency while reducing harmonic pollution. It could also be used for phase unbalance correction, und current unloading in the neutral conductor, and furthermore may help to reduce flicker phenomena. PQSine monitors the current signal and compensates the unwanted elements of the measured current. Thus, the filter ensures harmonic suppression independently of the number of loads. PQSine may also correct the power factor, but usually we recommend using a hybrid solution with PQSine and e.g. a 7% detuned PFC (power factor correction) system in order to have the best solution from costs/benefit point of view. PQSine series is available in wall or floor mounted versions; 3-phase/3-wire with input voltage 180 to 528 V or 3-phase/4-wire with input voltage 180 V to 460 V. Rated filter current 60 to 600 A per panel.
