HANNOVER MESSE 2018,
23 - 27 April
The fourth industrial revolution demands all resources of manufacturing. What does it mean in the daily practice of a manufacturing company? The focus is on the networking between all involved components of the value creation process and on better interaction along the whole supply chain. This requires the use of solutions, which harmonize the individual customer wishes and the increased time and cost pressure. That also means the availability of all relevant information in real-time.The Production Planning & Scheduling - PPS - supports all planning processes of the manufacturing.PPS includes the creation, scheduling and visualization of production orders. Production orders, resource and material availability as well as industry-specific conditions (shelf-life, safety stocks...) form the basis of real-time simulation and are visualized in an interactive planning table (Gantt diagram). This allows to quickly analyzing the situations and adjust planning results if necessary.A following special optimization run generates an optimized production plan for all processes.
