SAG empowered a unique FRAM® (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory) technology released by FUJITSU SEMICONDUCTOR. According to FUJITSU, the use of FRAM® 16kbits resulting in a 10 billion read & write accesses which increases the number of writings by 100,000 times over EEPROM. For industrial and automation sector, FRAM is often required- unlimited read and write capability.
RFID FRAM TAGs are made of PA6 (polycaprolactam), this material features tough and high tensile strength. It is highly resistant to chemicals, making it widely used for gears, fittings, and bearings in automotive industry. With SAG overmolded process, the SAG FRAM TAGs are IP68, 100% waterproof and can resist heat, cold, pressure even chemistry.
SAG FRAM TAGs family is available with various sizes (20, 30, 50mm) to fit in all kinds of space and for different read range requirement. 20mm is a button tag for limited room, 30mm and 50mm are stick tags with universal hole to screw on the object.
RFID FRAM TAGs are compatible to the ISO15693 / ISO18000-3 for operation at 13.56 MHz. The FRAM® technology was initially designed for healthcare due to its Gamma resistance feature(as known as Gamma Tag). But for sure it opens new opportunity for industrial and automation world. With its high memory storage, FRAM TAGs act like a small database to store every movement of the identified object.
