The sewage gas generated in the clarification process is much too valuable to use it in boilers or even burn it away. Compact CHP units of the FG series allow operators of clarification plants and biogas plants to get the best out of the gas: heat and power, which can be used as well internally as fed into power and heat networks. To gain most electricity from the gas SOKRATHERM has introduced several CHP unit types with 40 % electrical efficiency and more. The FG series combines the classic SOKRATHERM characteristics 'compact, efficient and reliable' with the best technology for using sewage gas. Being enclosed in a sound absorbing case and having the switchgear cabined already integrated, they can be set up quickly and cost-efficient inside operation buildings. For outside setup, they can also be delivered in a container. The sewage gas CHP units are also equipped with SOKRATHERM's advanced internet based iPC control which can also process external data as e.g. the gas supply. Besides the fully automatic operation it can provide online remote monitoring with continuous operation analysis. A remote control via notebook or smartphone is possible as well as the integration in virtual power plants.Several compact CHP units can be compiled to larger CHP schemes and controlled together. If required, they can also be equipped for island operation to provide selected power consumers with electricity during a mains failure.
Decentralized energy generation
Compact CHP units from SOKRATHERM share, regardless the specific model, the consistent implementation of the core characteristics compact, efficient and reliable.
