The Shot Blasting Line is designed to perform automatic shot blasting of objects continuously passing through the tunnel. Parts are placed on the conveyor and fed inside the shot blasting machine. After passing through a set of rubber curtains that prevent the abrasive material from escaping through the tunnel opening, the part to be blasted reaches blasting chamber. Blast wheels throw out abrasive material and it comes in contact with the blasted part. During this process, a thin layer of material is removed from the surface, therefore a desired level of cleanliness is achieved. Used abrasive falls down into a screw conveyor and is transported to a bucket elevator, which delivers it into a separator, where two-level separation is performed. Cleaned abrasive is then stored inside a hopper and fed back into blasting wheels. Abrasive material left on the clean part is removed in the brush chamber which is connected to the blasting chamber.
