Via smart glasses SKILL Task provides the worker in service or production with step by step instructions of the work to be performed. Additional functions like QR code detection, photo and voice notes and video chat further support the worker and increase quality assurance.
The tasks to be fulfilled are planned and managed in SKILL Server. The SKILL Task app on the smart glasses communicates with SKILL Server and logs the accomplished work steps.
The worker with the smart glasses may capture photos or record voice notes at any time. These will be stored on SKILL Server within the context of the current work step.
The QR code detection is used for different purposes: identification and registration of the worker at SKILL Server, identification of hardware components that need to be worked on, checking and verification of spare parts and accessories.
In case the worker needs help he may initiate a video chat with a remote support colleague. By the camera images of the smart glasses the support colleague "sees" the exact situation in the field and can thus provide exact and appropriate help.
The worker controls the SKILL Task App on the smart glasses using voice commands and gestures.
