Product description

Blanks for sound insulation are typically made from foam materials in the heavier densities (the opposite of sound absorption, which are often found in the light densities).
An increased density can be achieved by using regenerated foam (also called Bonded Foam)

Application areas can typically be sound insulation of engine rooms in yachts, wind turbine nacelles, compressors and other noisy machines, where it is possible to separate the source from the surrounding area.

If it is needed to create a cooling air circulation in relation to the sound insulation, it is possible also to create a sound lock/sound trap with sound absorption material.

The materials can be delivered with or without surface coating - depending on the desired use, and on an adhesive with the desired strength and aggressiveness.

B6 Akustik can deliver products in the following categories:

RE080: 80 kg/m3
RE100: 100 kg pr. m3
RE100X: 100 kg pr. m3 (certified for maritime use)
RE130: 130 kg pr. m3
RE230: 230 kg pr. m3

All qualities are available both as standard sheets 1000 x 2000 mm and thickness 5-100 mm, as well as after customer specific drawings/measures.
