Synchronous reluctance motor (SynRM) has neither magnets nor squirrel cage in its rotor. SynRM rotor magnetic core is manufactured only of laminated steel. SynRM is cheaper by 30% than IM and more than twice as cheap as motors with magnets. The SynRM developed by EMACH LLC has shown highest efficiency in experiment among motor with magnets, IM and commercially available SynRM. The SynRM energy efficiency class is higher than IE5 energy-efficiency class level. The magnet-free SynRM technology developed by EMACH is protected by the patent.The SynRM can replace the IM and motors with magnets and can be applied in variable speed applications such as pumps, fans, compressors, extruders, conveyors, mixers, household appliances, servo drives, electric spindles and high-speed applications. Also, SynRM can be used as generator in following applications: inverter generators; variable speed diesel or petrol or natural gas generators.
