Product description

At manufacturing of both road surface and building constructions of great importance is the shape of particles of the filler. The approaching of the particle shape to that of regular and cubical as well as a drop in the amount of particles with weakened shape result in durability of concrete and bitumen concrete constructions. Particularly important is a shape of small in size crushed rock- 2-5; 5-10; 10-15mm applied for the upper reinforcing layer of the road surface which determines the service life and the quality of the road. The shape of the crushed rock particles depends directly on the mode of crushing the rock. The most promising approach in the technology of crushing is the impact breaking of the material permitting to obtain cubical in shape crushed rock. Owing to high consumer qualities of the crushed rock, obtained through the centrifugal crushers, its application makes it possible:
- to reduce its consumption;
- to reduce both bitumen and emulsions consumption as much as 30%;
- to reduce time and labour input as much as 50% at placing asphaltic concrete pavement;
- to increase several times the service life of a road surface;
- to increase the coefficient of cohesion as much as 0,65-0,71.
