Mexico is ranked third globally in terms of installed capacity for geothermal energy. Its potential in the wind sector exceeds 40,000 MW, placing it among the highest globally. Mexico has an average solar radiation on national territory of 5kwh/m2 and a hydroelectrical potential of 53,000 MW.
