Product description

"Parksol" company, based in Kaunas, together with scientists from Kaunas University of Technology (KTU) developed automated car parking system, which informs about available parking places in city.
Ultrasound sensor is dedicated to be fixed on the ceiling or cable channel to detect the occupation of the car parking place. It is recommended for parking lots with roof. All sensors of the "Parksol" system are integrated with digital signal processing (DSP), adaptive sensitivity and temperature compensation functions. Sensor sends information about occupied parking places to the "Parksol" system in real-time. The number of available parking places is displayed on the LED-type screens.
Researches were performed to test sensor sensibility, while different models of cars were parked; temperature resistance and stability over the time; influence of the acoustic and electrical noises to the sensitivity of the sensor. Numerical and experimental researches were done to set the spread of ultrasound waves in and out of wave-wire with selection of the wave-wire configuration to ensure appropriate directivity.
