RWTH Aachen, fluidtechnische Antriebe

Exhibitor details
Logo Valve Technology and Mechatronics

Product description

Research conducted by the «Valve Technology and Mechatronics» group is mainly focused on the development and optimisation of valves, actuators and sensors. Proportional and servo-valves, but also switching valves, which incorporate mechanical components, actuators, and sensors as well as information and communication technologies, constitute challenging mechatronic systems due to increasing demands and novel operating
principles. Improving these components with regard to control power, reliability, wear and dynamics requires systematical enhancements.
This goes hand in hand with environmental aspects such as minimisation
of leakage and reduction of noise.
