Product description

The Institute for Machine Tools and Production Processes (IWP) of the Chemnitz University of Technology examines how VR can be used in the field of mechanical engineering and develops innovative approaches to link VR and engineering in a productive manner. Creating new process chains in the production process is a long, planning intensive and high-priced process. In this case Virtual Reality could be an important device in the planning phase. The developed process-chain animation is a methodical approach to visualize a realistic mapping of a real process chain in VR, based on CAD and process data (e.g. cycle times).
