At Hannover Messe Teseo is introducing a global preview, a new product that promises to revolutionize the world of compressed air distribution. It is a wind propelled generator with horizontal rotation axis, consisting of a spindle running on ball bearings, that supports three aluminium blades and is connected to the shaft of an air compressor. This wind propelled generator is mounted on top of a high aluminium framework by means of a swiveling arm. The generated compressed air is carried through pipes to a reservoir at the base of the supporting framework, and then is stored in large pressure vessels.
This innovative solution conceived and developed by TESEO offers significant benefits: it uses clean energy from a renewable source at zero cost; it is based on very simple and cost-effective equipment; it is independent of wind direction and it produces energy even at low wind speeds; it allows to store energy as compressed air in vessels; and the whole system is made of aluminium, which is 90% recyclable.
The compressed air volume intake is 374 cubic cm/revolution and the maximum operating pressure is 11 bar. The air volume generated at 4m/second wind speed is 2,300 liters/hour, 4,600 liters/hour at 8m/second wind speed and 6,900 liters/hour at 12m/sec. wind speed.
