Z88Arion is a free software for topology optimization that expands the established software solutions of Z88 by the simulation spectrum of optimization.
Special care was taken to make the software easy and intuitive to use and to build up and calculate 3D structural optimization models.
You can choose between three optimization algorithms, which generate a new structure based on the component's load. The OC algorithm (Optimality Criteria) creates a new structure of maximum stiffness that is more lightweight depending on a user-defined value. When choosing the SKO algorithm from the field of bionics, the component is simulated according to the biological growth rule. The self-made TOSS algorithm (Topology Optimization for Stiffness and Stress) initially performs the optimization according to the component's stiffness and additionally allows to limit the maximum occurring stress.
Furthermore it is also possible to generate the optimized result as a smoothed design suggestion to further assist the user in product development.
