Due to the features of high fracture toughness, high bending strength, high wear resistance, excellent heat insulating property and proper thermal expansion coefficient that closes to steel's, Zirconia(ZrO2) ceramic balls are widely employed in ceramic bearing fields. Furthermore, the cost is much lower than silicon nitride.

1.Corrosion resistance, which can also be used in acid and alkali situation.
2.High temperature resistance, which remain the same strength and hardness when the temperature nearly comes to 550 degree.
3.Nonmagnetic, electrical insulation, which can be used in magnetic field.
4.ZrO2 ceramic balls have a low density of 6.05g/cm3, it is approximately 20% lighter than steel ball, which decrease the centrifugal force on the deep groove,
in order to reduce the wear and tear.
5.Excellent resistance to oxidation and metal erosion, ZrO2 ceramic ball also can be used without lubricate environment.
6.Low friction coefficient and high surface finish.
