Gu van Rhijn, MSc, works as a senior projectmanager & researcher at TNO. She is specialized in innovation of processes: human robot collaboration and operator support systems in Industry aimed at improving productivity, flexibility, quality as well as health and ergonomics of employees. She is involved in several national and international research projects in the field of innovation of manufacturing processes and deployment of operators. At the moment she is actively involved in Smart Industry programs in Europe and in the Netherlands. She is setting up and coordinating projects and fieldlabs on topics flexible manufacturing: human robot collaboration and operator support systems for efficient, effective and safe operations. Goal Is to develop, validate, apply and demonstrate new technologies like cobots and augmented reality in practical demonstration set ups for industry.
