Vladimir Dmitrievskii graduated from Ural State University with a master degree in theoretical physics in 1996. In 2007, he graduated from the post-graduate course of Ural State Technical University, specializing in electric motors and electric drives and defended his PhD thesis devoted to mathematical modeling and optimal designing the linear electric motors. He is an author of more than 80 papers, 26 of which are peer-reviewed scientific papers indexed by Scopus and Web of Science and of three monographs in the field of electrical engineering and electric drives. His field of scientific interests is optimal designing energy efficient motors and developing sensorless control algorithms for electric drives. He is an author of four patents for invention.
Since 2011, he is an associate professor at the Electrical Engineering and Electrotechnological Systems department of Ural Federal University, teaches the course “Mathematical modeling and optimal designing the electric machines” and supervises the investigations in the laboratory of the electric drives. In 2014, Vladimir Dmitrievskii and his colleagues founded EMACH LLC specializing in designing energy-efficient, gearless, high-speed electric motors and drives. Since 2015, he is the chief technical officer in EMACH LCC.
