Mikel Iturbe is a researcher at Mondragon University. His research interests include Network Security, Data Science applications and Industrial Control Systems. Since 2013, he is part of the Telematics team, which focuses in Intelligent Systems and ICT Security. His main research line is related to attack detection and security monitoring of Industrial Networks by leveraging data-driven methods, mainly visualization and multivariate analysis. He studied his BSc in Computer Engineering at Mondragon University (2012) and his MSc in ICT Security at the Open University of Catalonia, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Rovira i Virgili University (2013). Moreover, apart from Mondragon University, he also has carried out research work at the Fraunhofer IGD Institute for Graphics Research in Darmstadt, Germany (2011-2012), the University of Granada in Granada, Spain (2015) and the Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden (2016), in all cases, related to security.
