Pablo Coca is Chemical Engineer (2000) and holds an MSc-DEA in Project Management (2008) by University of Oviedo.
15 years' experience in innovation management and R&D projects. He started his career in ITMA Materials Technology (2000-2001) where he was involved in projects for the development of new coatings for steel at pilot scale. After that, he worked as Innovation Manager in ATECMA (2003-2004), the Spanish Association of Aerospace Industries, where he managed the Innovation Support Service. In 2004, he joined PRODINTEC, a technology centre specialized in product development and advanced manufacturing. He was part of the initial team in charge of the starting up of the centre where he had the roles of Head of R&D Management, Director of Projects and Innovation Management and Director of Operations.
In 2013, he created a company called ICUBE together with other founding partners. ICUBE is a technology-based company oriented to the industrialization of additive manufacturing processes and other advanced industrial technologies.
In 2015, Pablo joined CTIC, a technology centre specialized in ICT Technologies, as Director of Business Development and Operations. CTIC is nowadays a leading player on digital transformation and Industry 4.0 in Spain.
He is Member of several working groups on Industry 4.0 standardization as IEC-SEG7 Working Group on Smart Manufacturing and the Spanish Forum on Standards for Connected Industry 4.0. He is also external evaluator of the European Commission in R&D and innovation Programmes.
