Making the transformation of industry a tangible experience - this is the promise of HANNOVER MESSE 2020. Digitization will play a special role here. This is what the special display DIGITAL ENERGY pays tribute to. On the way to an energy-intelligent future, its fourth edition deals with the energy (data) management of industrial, commercial and public properties as well as with digitization strategies for energy suppliers, municipal utilities and network operators:
Industrial Energy Efficiency
Promoted by innovative sensor technology and software, holistic energy management is becoming an increasingly important - because competition-critical - facet of Industrie 4.0. The Industrial Energy Efficiency exhibition area shows ways and solutions for greater planning security in energy costs and for climate-friendly production. User target groups are energy and facility managers from industry and commerce, infrastructure companies and the public sector, as well as plant constructors and the skilled trades.
Digitalisation in the utilities sector is picking up speed. Smart metering, digital network monitoring and IT-based customer services show that the industry has made its way into the future. Industry, commerce and the housing industry are providing additional impetus, with an increasing demand for intelligent energy supply solutions. In the Util:IT exhibition area, energy producers, network operators, municipal utilities and utility companies from all sectors will meet companies that, as experts in regulated processes and critical infrastructures, are helping to develop new operating and business models.
