Here you will find questions and answers about the postponement of HANNOVER MESSE 2022. These are always updated to reflect ongoing developments (as of 19 January 2022).
HANNOVER MESSE 2022 takes place from 30 May - 02 June 2022.
Due to the current pandemic situation, we made a decision in close cooperation with our exhibitor advisory board and partner associations VDMA (Association of German Mechanical and Plant Engineering) and ZVEI (Central Association of German Electrical Engineering and Digital Industry).
Experience shows that summer is best for face-to-face events, so the new date offers all participants the greatest possible safety and planning security.
As an exception, HANNOVER MESSE will be held as a four-day event taking in account set-up and dismantling, as well as holiday and travel times.
Everyone involved gets informed about the postponement right now. Your known contacts will be available to answer any questions.
HANNOVER MESSE will be moved with all assets and content from April to June. Topics, exhibition areas, conferences and streaming possibilities will also be available within the new set up.

In order to transfer your registration to the new event date, you must give your written consent. This can easily be done by email.
We will inform all registered exhibitors about the exact procedure in a separate e-mail.
Of course, we would be delighted to welcome you as an exhibitor to the postponed date of HANNOVER MESSE 2022. If you are still unable to take part on the new event date, please inform your known contact person in a short e-mail.
It is possible to change the form of participation. You can adjust your hybrid participation and attend digital only if you wish. Please inform your known contact person of this wish by e-mail.

Changes in participation behavior may result in rescheduling. In this case we will contact you in good time.
As of today, the price for the stand space or services you have already booked will not change.
(e.g. catering, travel/accommodation, etc.)
No, services ordered from third parties are based exclusively on the relationship between the parties who have concluded the contract. Deutsche Messe will not reimburse any costs in this respect.
