When the workers go home, Doxel sends autonomous drones and mini-robots onto the building site. Their cameras record high-resolution images and infrared scans of the entire environment. But the beating heart of the solution is the software – artificial intelligence analyses the graphics and compares the progress with the available construction plans and drawings. Is there a duct, shown in the plans, that is actually missing? Or have pipes been laid a few centimeters too far to the right? The software recognizes even the smallest deviations.
How the world of the building site presents itself as a Doxel survey for the Lidar (Light Detection and Ranging) sensors is clearly shown in a YouTube video. The key advantages of such a solution are, on the one hand, the automation, and on the other, the fact that the Doxel bots enable fault correction “ within minutes instead of months ”. The costs resulting from construction faults are thus reduced accordingly.
