In addition to its Drive Pegasus platform with AI processors, the US technology company Nvidia will also provide the operating software and know-how for the cooperation. The partners set ambitious goals for themselves. The technology is supposed to go into production already at the beginning of the next decade. A corresponding shuttle service is to be tested as early as the second half of 2019 on selected public routes in California. The test fleet will be operated by the Group division Daimler Mobility Services.
