As seamless intralogistics processes are marching to the fore and becoming increasingly automated, Rollon GmbH provides customized system solutions that head precisely in this direction.

That doesn't mean that the manufacturing industry is sold short. Rollon is also exhibiting a sample application based on its modular Actuator System Line to demonstrate how its Seventh Axis can be used to increase robots' range of motion. The system is designed to move entire robots weighing up to 2,000 kilograms along a ground-level linear axis, using a Cartesian linear axis system with a telescopic feeder. The Seventh Axis is constructed mainly from Rollon's Tecline profiles, whose prismatic roller guides and profile rails coupled with a rack and pinion drive are designed to combine highly dynamic performance with high load-bearing capacity. This enables an articulated-arm robot, for example, to run back and forth along a production line on a linear axis while performing its usual movements. The system can also be used to turn a robot into a mobile feeder for delivering pieces to several workstations.
