Industrial high-performance ceramics today enables applications that just a few years ago would have been unthinkable: New durable materials for engine building, wear resistant cutting ceramics, substrate disks for the electronics industry, porous structures for diaphragm and filter technology, high-strength valves for systems engineering, and much more.

Under the brands "think ceramics" and "Treffpunkt Keramik – Ceramic Applications" numerous ceramics specialists are demonstrating the possibilities their technology presents at Industrial Supply. "think ceramics" is a group pavilion hosted by the Bavarian Association of the Ceramics Industry (VKI). International providers come together at the "Treffpunkt Keramik – Ceramic Applications" platform hosted by Göller Verlag GmbH. At the Austrian group pavilion in Hall 5, engineering ceramics also plays a role.

Research institutes and individual exhibitors are also showcasing innovative ceramic solutions – including the US brand CoorsTek, the world’s largest manufacturer of engineering ceramics.
