Train traffic will then return to normal in the course of Friday afternoon. It will therefore still be possible to depart on Friday after the trade fair closes.

For visitors who plan to visit the fair on Friday, we recommend that you travel by car or plane. Hanover Airport will be open as normal.

Public transport in Hanover:

There is no strike on the subways in Hanover. The journey to the fair with the subways and trams is possible without restrictions. Suburban trains are expected to be partially on strike on Friday, 21.04. from 7.00-11.00 and will therefore operate with limitations.

Shuttle service to the airport:

Deutsche Messe AG has set up an airport shuttle service for visitors and exhibitors of HANNOVER MESSE.
On Friday, 21 April, a bus will depart every hour starting at 8:00 a.m. from the exhibition grounds (Entrance West 1) and another from Hannover Airport.
Beginning at 1:00 p.m., both buses will depart from Entrance West 1 every hour only in the direction of Hannover Airport. The last transfer is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
