Represented by a number of public and private entities, the State of Qatar is participating in HANNOVER MESSE 2022 with a distinguished pavilion spanning an area of 821 square meters, and showcasing the country’s standing as an ideal, safe destination for business and investment regionally and globally.

Qatar’s pavilion draws attention to the promising investment opportunities in the country and the legislation that has been established to attract foreign investors. It also shines a spotlight at the projects established in partnership between the public and private sectors, in addition to highlighting Qatar’s advanced infrastructure, economic and logistical zones, and storage areas. The stunning facilities and sports stadiums for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, taking place in November this year, also have a share of the Qatari features showcased in the pavilion.
Through its participation in the fair, Qatar seeks to introduce the most prominent laws and legislations passed with the aim of stimulating foreign investment, such as the Law Regulating Non-Qatari Capital Investment in the Economic Activity and the Law on Investment Free Zones, which both allow foreign investors to own up to 100% in various sectors and economic and commercial activities.
Since many years, Qatar has proceeded with the policy of economic openness, effective linkage with global markets, and building international partnerships, capitalising on its world-class infrastructure, such as Hamad International Airport and Hamad Port, which both allow foreign investors to prosper and expand into Middle Eastern, Asian, and African markets.
