Important dates for "Partner Country Poland" at HANNOVER MESSE

HANNOVER MESSE delivers more than brisk business at the stands of its exhibitors; it also promotes win-win networking between entrepreneurs and political delegates. And for Poland as the official Partner Country at HANNOVER MESSE 2017, this will particularly be the case, with Poland to be featured prominently at numerous events during the show.

Government leaders to attend Opening Ceremony

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will share the stage with Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydło and Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development Mateusz Morawiecki at the HANNOVER MESSE Oepning Ceremony to take place on the eve of the show (Sunday). These three high-ranking government representatives will also take the traditional Monday morning tour on the first day of the exhibition, starting at 9 a.m. with the opening of the Polish pavilion in Hall 3.

The Polish Pavilion will be the main port of call for everyone interested in exploring B2B opportunities with Poland. And the overarching theme of technology cooperation will be the watchword at the stand of PARP – the Polish Business Development Agency – in Hall 2 as the Research & Technology hall.

Business-Summit on Mobility and Industry 4.0

There will be several events connected with Partner Country Poland at the Global Business & Markets section of Hall 3. On Monday, from 11 a.m. to 1 pm., the Polish-German Business Summit will take place. This summit is a joint event organized by the Federation of German Industries (BDI), the Polish Lewiatan Confederation and HANNOVER MESSE. On Tuesday, from 3:00 to 4:45 p.m., Global Business & Markets will explore industrial automation opportunities in Poland at a panel discussion organized by Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI). Here, for an audience consisting of public administrators and members of the business community, the focus will be today’s economic situation in and business potential with Poland, with the emphasis being on practical matters ranging from sales to production.
