Senseye is an award-winning software that leverages machine learning to automate monitoring and forecasting of the condition of machines and plants. The software has been available to the Siemens Mindsphere operating system as a supplementary service since June 2018. A new version of Senseye has now been developed especially for the Mindsphere environment and is hosted in the operating system itself. The software can produce even more precise analyses now that it has access to historical data.

According to Simon Kampa, CEO of Senseye, the software can be used to significantly improve the efficiency of maintenance measures. This involves analyzing and evaluating data that modern industrial plants regularly record in a standardized manner. Integration into the Mindsphere environment apparently provides immediate information on the plant’s current and future condition. Kampa expects the investment in Senseye to pay off within three months. As the software is integrated into the existing system, there are no additional costs for sensors or applications.
