It was the smart combination of these eye-catching features that also grabbed the attention of the panel of judges appointed by "Schaltschrankbau" magazine, published by TeDo, which ultimately helped the Quint DC UPS clinch its "Innovation Award 2019". The magazine awards this title to five outstanding innovations each year that are deemed to boost the competitiveness of Germany’s switchgear engineering industry at the same time as meeting operators' increasing requirements. With these criteria firmly in mind, the panel of experts pinpointed the first intelligent uninterruptible power supply from Phoenix Contact as a particularly progressive solution for the sector.
