At the moment, German businesses are still primarily using diesel cars as their company vehicles. However, many companies want to move away from diesel and are looking round for electric alternatives. But they often lack the expertise required to make the change. Now they can buy it in: the Munich-based company eeMobility , which was founded in 2015, offers firms a complete service covering all aspects of electric cars for business use. Its 41 employees arrange for charging stations to be set up on the company site or at the homes of employees and organize servicing. In addition, eeMobility supplies the electricity, which is generated 100% ecologically according to the TÜV certification. The firm has concluded contracts with the providers Hubject and Ladenetz . eeMobility customers can therefore make use of around 45,000 charging stations throughout Europe.
The Munich firm focuses its services exclusively on business customers with a fleet of 50 or more vehicles. eeMobility charges for its services at a flat rate that is based on the leasing models of the automobile manufacturers. At the end of last year, the Norwegian energy company Statkraft took a majority holding in eeMobility. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
