In the event of damage or service and before any maintenance: the video live-stream tool TÜV NORD live-expert takes expert know-how to where it is needed. With the software, customers can connect their specialists to any location in the world via video live-stream, e.g. to investigate cases of damage or assess necessary measures. Any person with a mobile device at the damage site acts as an "extended eye" of the expert, who triggers high-resolution real-time images. The data is transmitted in encrypted form and stored on servers in TÜV NORD’s own computer centre. This enables, for example, maintenance personnel, insurance companies or production companies to allocate their experts more efficiently and cost-effectively.
