It frees customers from the high fixed costs of reserved production capacities, constant provision of storage space and purchasing individual components. The new Fast Delivery Service in the Weidmüller Configurator (WMC) commits to delivering one-off, ready-to-install terminal strips within five working days. After performing the same intuitive configuration process as usual, using an ECAD system and the WMC, within minutes the customer receives an automated offer, including all part numbers. As soon as the order is placed, Weidmüller starts assembling it based on the data provided by the WMC. The ready-to-install terminal strip is dispatched within four days at most and will generally arrive the next day within Germany. The customer's wishes can be met in full this way, even one-off requirements.
