Deutsche Messe invites entries for the ROBOTICS AWARD

After a hiatus of several years, Deutsche Messe is now inviting entries for a new edition of the ROBOTICS AWARD in connection with HANNOVER MESSE 2025, honoring robot-supported automation and logistics solutions. Companies and institutions from Germany and abroad are eligible to apply, regardless of whether they are exhibitors at HANNOVER MESSE 2025 or not.

April 26 saw Sahana Shastry honored with the Young Engineer Woman Award at the FEMWORX Career Congress. An independent jury consisting of the members of the FEMWORX Congress Advisory Board selected her as the winner among three nominated female experts.

The Engineer Woman Award goes to Yvonne Groth

Dipl.-Ing. Yvonne Groth was honored with the Engineer Woman Award at the opening ceremony of the FEMWORX Career Congress. An independent jury consisting of the members of the FEMWORX Congress Advisory Board had previously nominated four female experts for this prestigious prize.

HERMES AWARD 2024 goes to Schunk

This year saw the German company Schunk honored with the HERMES AWARD at the ceremonial opening of HANNOVER MESSE on April 21, 2024, in recognition of an innovative AI-based project. Bettina Stark-Watzinger, Germany's Minister of Education and Research, presented the award in the presence of Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.
