Description

The goal of this presentation is to provide an overview and classification of recent insights and methods for the development of digital business models in the industrial context. In the beginning an overview of existing studies on the topic of digital business models from industrial associations, political initiatives and business corporations will be given. The audience will understand that a significant number of methods and best practice use-cases for the development of digital business models in the industrial context exist, which can support companies to find their way into digital business. Subsequently, the industry-specific requirements on such process will be explained and one approach for the co-creation of digital solutions will be explained in more detail with real-world examples on its usage.
