In recent years, wireless communications receive a lot of attentions for many applications in manufacturing sites. A survey indicates the number of wireless nodes is increasing at an annual growth rate of 32%. Flexible Factory Project (FFPJ) has been conducted since 2015, with National Institute of Information and partners. We will lead IoT utilization in the manufacturing field by stabilized wireless communications. To accelerate standardization, Flexible Factory Partner Alliance (FFPA) has been established since July 2017,  and soon FFPJ/FFPA has started collaboration with VDMA. Attention should be paid to security of networks including wireless communications because the attack surface of the wireless network is larger than that of the wired network. In this talk, I will introduce FFPJ/FFPA's activity and our "security guide for factory" with VDMA.
