HANNOVER MESSE 2019,
01 - 05 April
3D vision has been developing its area of interest into the industry and has to be fast, accurate. This technology has differences with the 2D vision systems, and we will explain why 3D vision is more valuable in some cases. How the 3D vision systems applied to the robotic are becoming a key elements of the smart factory. The vision guided robotics has some specific typical applications where it is fundamental to have vision - Pick and place: to pick a product in a known position or semi-ordered and put it back on a known position - Process guidance: for precision manipulations - laser cutting, machining – with position deviation of the part to work on - Random parts Bin Picking: parts in bulk locate them and guide the robot to pick the right part in the bin (up to the last one) These 4 applications have a common point: the vision helping robot to act in real time with the working scene in order to increase the production rate and prevent MSD (Musculoskeletal disorder) to operators.
