Description

Combined Hybrid Energy Systems (CHES), an “EXIST Forschungstransfer” project, stands for an innovative approach for Virtual Power Plants (VPP) for a successful German “Energiewende”. The CHES platform allows the economical integration of small energy plants (<200kW - for example heat pumps, combined heat and power plants) in our energy system. In the presentation, CHES presents the requirements for VPP based on practical results out of the fieldtest of the "Local Virtual Power Plant". Based on this, the CHES platform as new approach based on the self-learning control box DInCo and the coordinator COCo will be presented. Finally, use cases and value added services are shown.
