Description

The example of a plastic injection molding machine shows the advantages of an energy management, which provides information about every single process step. For a holistic view process and energy data are overlain. On the one hand, this allows the evaluation of potential energy savings and optimizes the process. On the other hand, predictions can be made as to the condition of the machine, which enables predictive maintenance. On the basis of the overlaid process and energy data, an optimal basic data set for the machine is first created. In the current production, this serves to monitor the aggregates and processes as well as to further optimize the entire process. In cooperation with the person responsible for the process, this results in clear relationships that allow threshold values ??to be defined for each process step. Use the machine data to optimize maintenance and reduce downtime.
