Machine learning in industrial IOT is on the rise. While predictive maintenance continues to be a leading use case, the underlying techniques can be used to predict events in general. Predictive analytics present a new set of challenges including data type and acquisition, as well as generating business cases for development, deployment, and scale. We will share deployment scenarios and common algorithms that address predictive analytics use cases, ultimately paving the road to autonomous factories.
