HANNOVER MESSE 2020,
20 - 24 April
The expansion of parking areas with several charging stations is constantly increasing and requires optimal integration of the charging infrastructure into the existing energy distribution network. In the case of large charging parks, the sum of the individual power of the charging stations typically exceeds the maximum connected load of the local distribution network. Simultaneous use of several charging points can exceed the allowed connected load and cause damage to the local distribution network. Therefore, intelligent load management is a basic requirement for the safe operation of charging parks. This records the charging capacity at any time and, if necessary, reduces the charging capacities at the charging points in order not to exceed the maximum permissible total charging capacity. In addition, the software developed by Phoenix Contact supports various authorization methods, consumption-based billing via the backend provider, and connection to higher-level management systems.
