Many expectations have been raised over the last few years, promising a disruptive robotic revolution in terms of simplicity, collaboration, artificial intelligence and Industry 4.0. Robotic Startups are mixing up the market with fresh ideas, which is currently dominated by the Robot Supplier "Establishment". But between all the good ideas and visionary buzzwords, robotic automation is realistically just at the beginning of a longer journey than people may think. First ready-to-sell I4.0 solutions are just appearing on the market. In Man-Robot-Collaboration, safety and cycle time boundaries have been under-estimated, and require a much more educated approach to ensure good benefit and ROI.
